We took Harper to see her favorite purple dinosaur. Needless to say she was beyond excited! Her BFF Emery and her parents went along as well. This made the event even more special for Harper to share it with her BFF.
Here the girls are at dinner before the show…

Barney Time….

Amazed!

Barney and his friends…

“It’s Over ?!?!”

We were so excited to take Harper to see Barney. She loves watching the Barney show . When they started playing the final song “I love You” Harper knew right away that was the sign the show was over and started crying. She recovered quickly and all was well.

The past couple of days have been very long for me. You see my Diva has not been feeling up to par. Not only does she have a massive number of teeth coming in at one time she has a stuffy nose along with an ear infection. The only thing she wants me to do is…well, whatever she wants me to do. You see my Diva does not want me to eat, sleep, shower, wash clothes, clean house, or cook and the list goes on and on. If I do not obey the Diva she throws her whole little body onto the floor and kicks her legs and arms and screams. I really hope this is all just because she is not feeling well. At first I thought it was funny. Now a few days into this I tend to be having a very hard time finding the humor in the whole thing. Here’s hoping for a better mood tomorrow.

On her way down for a fit…

“Well this one is not working…I will try something else”

“What about just being cute? How far will this get me?”

Till next time…Enjoy!

Last night was another sleepless night for James and I. Harper is still suffering from a stuffy nose. This morning she was as happy as could be once she woke up. We played around the house and had a nap. After nap we headed to Walhalla to an Octoberfest festival they were having. Harper enjoyed people watching and we enjoyed getting out of the house. By the time we made it home Harper’s stuffy nose was getting the best of her. We are hoping that she gets some sleep tonight.
This was Harper’s first Cat bus ride.

Where does the time go? I have not been good at all with keeping the blog updated with Harper’s daily happenings in the past couple of months. Her nap time is getting shorter everyday and by the time I get the things I have to get done done she is awake again and then by the time she is asleep at night so am I. Let me catch you all up on the little Diva. She is such a strong willed little girl. I say little girl because you see she is no longer a baby in her eyes
. When we are out and about she will point out other babies and call them “baby”. I think it’s hilarious. That she no longer views herself as a “baby”. Her speech is really picking up! Now please note that when Harper and I are one on one or when it’s just Daddy with us she is a little Cathy Chatty. When other people are around not so much. By no means is she shy. She just keeps her thoughts to herself. Here are all of the words that Harper has said…Mama,Da-da, no, hey, yay, baby, bath, ball, bubble, Bob, Big Bird, Balloon, bye-bye, bird, dog. Can you tell that she likes words that being with the letter “B”. There have been a couple of other things here and there. They will come to me if I sit and think about it a while.
Harper has seven teeth coming in right now. This will give her a total of 16 teeth. I guess it’s a good thing to get them all over with at once ,but this teething thing is hard on Mama. She is so full of energy. When it’s just the two of us at home she wants me right there with her at all times. If we are out in public she wants to be free to run and explore all on her own. I wish she was a tad more adventurous at home when it’s just the two of us.
We are really getting into a daily schedule. That really makes things easier on me. Monday’s we are still going to music class, Tuesday and Thursday are Mom’s Morning’s Out and Wednesday’s are her birds class. On Friday’s we don’t have anything scheduled, but we try and go to the zoo in the morning and then go to open play at her gym in the afternoon. Let’s just say that she has more of a social life than her Mom
.
Sadie (our dog) and Harper have become BFF’s. I must add that this is really not Sadie’s choice. Harper want’s to know where Sadie is at all times and what she is doing at all times. She thinks that Sadie is nothing more than her play toy. I feel that there will be a lot of breaking up fights between them in my future.

Till next time…Enjoy!
